Fonds consist of architectural drawings of the Ottawa (Capital) Theatre which was situated on the south-west corner of Bank and Queen Streets in Ottawa, Ontario. The plans are by Thomas W. Lamb (Architect) and J. A. Ewart (Associate architect).

Lamb, Thomas W : Thomas W. Lamb (1871 - 1942) was one of the foremost American theatre and cinema architects in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He is noted for designing New York's Ziefgeld Theatre, as well as Madison Square Garden. Lamb's architectural archive is held by the Drawings and Archives Department of Avery Architectural and Fine Arts Library at Columbia University.
