Scott, George Drillie, 1877-1958 : Private George Drillie Scott of Ottawa, Ont., joined the 7th Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force, in 1914. He served in France, from October 1914 to April 1915, when he was captured during the Second Battle of Ypres. Scott was a prisoner of war in Germany until 25 November 1918, and was demobilized in March 1919.
