Worrell, Clarendon Lamb, 1854-1934 : Clarendon Lamb Worrell, born in Smith Falls, Ontario, was educated at Trinity College in Toronto. He became a deacon for the Anglican Church, 1881, and a priest in 1884. He served as rector in Williamsburg, Ont., 1884-1886, Morrisburg, Ont., 1886-1891, and Barriefield, Ont., 1891-1903. He became Bishop of Nova Scotia in 1904 and served as the Anglican Primate of Canada, 1931-1934. Active in the British Empire League, Worrell also served in the Lord's Day Alliance and the Moral and Social Reform Council of Nova Scotia.
