Collection consists of the correspondence of Charles and William Rein Wadsworth with their mother, brother Thomas Page Wadsworth and William's daughter, Elizabeth, 1817-1857; and a transcript of a 1966 conversation between a Mr. Schaffter and William Ridout Wadsworth in which the latter reminisces about his student days at Upper Canada College and Ridley College in the 1880's and 1890's.

Wadsworth, William (family) : Charles Wadsworth emigrated from England in 1828 and shortly thereafter became proprietor of a grist mill at Weston Mills, Upper Canada. In 1829 he was joined by his brother, William Rein Wadsworth and the two brothers formed a partnership to operate the mill.
