Fonds consists of records that include National War Finance Committee Victory Loan Campaign press releases, correspondence and ephemera; an annual report of the National Council of the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) for 1942-1943; notes for Diefenbaker's address to the Canadian Women's Press Club, 8 September 1959; a pamphlet of the Canadian Youth Hostels Association, 1938; and a handbook of the Dominion of Canada Football Association, 1930.

Cruikshank, Elizabeth, 1895-1989 : Elizabeth Roley Cruikshank (1895-1989), naturalist, was born near Saint John, New Brunswick. She moved to Regina in 1916 and married Warburton K. Cruikshank. Mrs. Cruikshank become involved in civic affairs and in 1938, she ran for city council. She also was involved in the Liaison Committee on Responsibility of Women Wage Earners for Dependents of the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) National Council.

During the Second World War, Mrs. Cruikshank was active in the Saskatchewan Division of the National War Finance Committee and took on other home-front duties. She received the Order of the British Empire for this work. She worked for the Saskatchewan Museum of Natural History and began a weekly nature column in the Regina Leader-Post under the pseudonym Liz Roley in 1956. She became president of the provincial council of women and a charter member of the Canadian Women's Press Club. In 1980, the University of Regina awarded her an honorary doctors of law degree.
