Sub-series consists of records relating to the 1986 World Exposition, Expo 86, that took place in Vancouver, British Columbia, from May 2 to October 13, 1986 and was devoted to the themes of transportation and communications. The RCMP were responsible for the personal security of VIPs and for coping with the large influx of tourists. The records in this sub-series consist of threat assessments, reports, minutes agendas, newspaper clippings, and other information on the services, sites, visits and security of Expo 86.
