General note:

Accession consists of 3795 projects which make up the data bank and includes test borings plans and test borings records which were required for geotechnical subsurface investigations. These test were conducted on lock and dam sites, dredging, harbour improvements, pier and wall extensions, building construction and wharf reconstruction.

Some of the maps are accompanied by air photographs and brief project reports.
