This album, comprised of 83 pages on which 312 photographs are mounted, consists of journeys through the Northwest Territories by steamer, and documentation of the churches, missions, schools, and Hudson's Bay Company posts of each settlement. It also includes: the setting up of the N.W.T. and Yukon Branch's administration office and other buildings in Fort Smith, activities of Governor-General Lord Byng (especially in Fort Norman and Good Hope), a trip through Wood Buffalo National Park, and the government's Hay Camp. Cover of albums says "Inspecting Engineer, M, L & Y Branch, Dept. of Interior, Ottawa". Many of these photos can be found in a number of other albums, such as 16, 46, 48, 49, and 51.
