This album, comprised of 29 pages on which 100 photographs are mounted, is mainly about Lake Harbour, but also Cape Dorset and to a very small degree, Frobisher Bay. Subjects concern winter and summer views of these settlements, activities of the government and the R.C.M.P. such as constructing buildings, and many portraits of the Inuit, both formal and non-formal. Very little detail is written in the captions; sometimes there are no captions at all. Photos by various people: J.D. Soper (1929, 1931); D.L. McKeand (1934, 1936); L.D. Livingstone (1927); L.T. Burwash (1924); R.S. Finnie (1929); B.A. Haldeman (1936); Constable P. Dersch (1928); and R.K. Carnegie (1937). L.D. Livingstone is the only photographer for the Frobisher Bay photographs. Some of the Lake Harbour and Cape Dorset photos by J.D. Soper can also be found in albums 24 and 25. Some of D.L. McKeand's Lake Harbour and Cape Dorset photos can also be found in albums 19 and 20.
