The "Beautiful Miss Walmsley" is likely Rachel Jemima Walmesley, the daughter of James Walmesley and Ann Potts of Tynemouth, Northumberland, England. Rachel was born on May 20, 1795, and she married Andrew Motz Skene on August 31, 1822, Durham.
