This sub-series comprises photographs of numerous United Auto Workers (UAW) conferences that occurred in Canada in the mid-1970s. The UAW in Canada held Collective Bargaining and Political Action Conventions every two or three years.

One of the conferences depicted is a bargaining conference that took place at the Four Seasons Sheraton hotel in Toronto from April 10-11, 1976. Dennis McDermott, Canadian director of UAW, is featured prominently in these photographs, in addition to distinguished guest Dave Miller (head of UAW retired workers' department in Detroit). There were other local representatives photographed at this event, including John Duff and Russ Barber.

Other photographs in this sub-series depict a 1975 Canadian council meeting that took place on February 17, 1975. At this meeting, over 300 members of the Canadian council met with government cabinet ministers in Ottawa to present a six-point plan to assist the auto industry. There also appears to be a few photographs from a conference that took place in Montreal at the Sheraton Mont Royal.

Other individuals who appear in these photographs include John Moynahan, Bob White, Sam Gindin, Bert Rovers, Cliff Pikey, Pat Clancy, Stew Cooke, Frank Fairchild, Charlie Brooks, Leonard Woodcock, Martin Gerber, Marc Stepp and Sandy Palis.
Some of these photographs were reproduced in UAW's newsletter, Solidarity Canada.
