The fonds also contains photographs of Sir Wilfrid Laurier, n.d.Provenance:Biography/Administrative history:Euler, William Daum, 1875-1961 : William Daum Euler, born in 1875 at Conestogo, Ont., was a businessman at Kitchener, Ont. with interests in the Economical Fire Insurance Co., Dominion Life Assurance Co., Waterloo Trust Co., and J.C. Jaimit Co. Ltd. He served as Mayor of Berlin from 1913-1914.
He was a Member of the House of Commons from 1917 to 1940, serving as a Member of the Privy Council, 1926, Minister of Customs and Excise, 1926-1927, Minister of National Revenue, 1927-1930, and Minister of Trade and Commerce, 1935-1940. He was called to the Senate in 1940. When the Government changed in 1930, he left office and took his papers to Kitchener. The papers in this collection represent only a fraction of the original papers.
