He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of P.E.I., 1870-1873, a Liberal-Conservative Member of the House of Commons, 1873-1874 and 1878-1896 with the exception of the years 1887-1891, and Lieutenant-Governor of P.E.I. from 1915-1919.Additional information:Location of originals note:Copied in 1964 from originals held by Mr. John A.
