Holton, Edward, 1844-1907 : The Hon. Edward Holton, born in Montreal, Canada East, received his Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University. He was called to the bar in 1867, and practised law in Montreal. He was a member of Parliament representing Châteauguay, Que., 1880-1891.
