Series consists of the papers on the Expedition consist of clippings from French, Canadian, American and European newspapers. There is extensive correspondence with Mr. Bocock on hiring the crew, procuring the equipment, import permits, recovery of supplies lost, lists of personnel, films, broadcasts, notes, telegrams. Subjects covered are: air services, surveying of the route, publicity, reports on the progress of the Expedition. There is some correspondence with M. André Citroën, Chairman of the Company, who was interested in the performance of the trucks that he had designed. Senator Raoul Dandurand had considerable correspondence with Bedaux on import permits and bonds in lieu of tariffs for imported equipment.

This Expedition on Citroën half-track and horses attempted to reach Telegraph Creek on the Stikine River in British Columbia from Edmonton. It was turned back just short of its goal by bad weather. The aim of the Expedition appears to have been a test of the half-track trucks on difficult terrain, hunting, gold prospecting and adventure. A portion of the Expedition followed the route of the Alaska Highway built a decade later.

J.B. Bocock, a geologist from the University of Alberta was second-in-command. The camera man Floyd Crosby took extensive films of the Expedition which are to be found in the Moving Images and Sound Archives.
