Canada. Dept. of Defence Production. International Programs Branch : The International Development Programmes (IDP) Branch coordinated defence exporting, Canadian participation on the NATO Armaments Committee, and joint Canada-US defence development. In 1963 an International Programs Branch was established "to consolidate activities of the Canadian Commercial Corporation with the staff coordination work of the United States and Overseas Division of the Dept. of Defence Production. The new Branch is to provide guidance and control of all the elements of Departmental defence export activities." In 1968 this Branch was transferred to the Dept. of Trade and Commerce (later Industry, Trade and Commerce). RG49 General Inventory
