This accession contains a mix of agreements, reports, legal records, instructional materials and maps for The Grand Trunk Railway Company of Canada and The Grand Trunk Pacific Railway Company.
The Grand Trunk Pacific Railway Company records include copies of mortgage ratifications for the GTR (1903-05), and statutes and charters (1904-06) for The National Construction Company Limited, The Saskatchewan Bridge Company, The Grand Trunk Pacific Telegraph Company, The Grand Trunk Pacific Town and Development Company, Limited and The Pacific Northern & Omineca Railway Company. Also included are statutes (1906-12) for the Grand Trunk Pacific Branch Lines Company/Grand Trunk Pacific Saskatchewan Railway Company.
The Grand Trunk Railway of Canada records contain arbitration agreement awards for The Intercolonial Railway and The Pullman Company, legal files (1929-1940) pertaining to George Pardew Lovibond's shareholder challenge to the Grand Trunk Acquisition Act, early 1900s annual financial reports prepared by Price Waterhouse and a miscellany of GTR freight traffic instructional booklets for use by agents and cashiers.
