Consists of various shareholder registers and issued/cancelled and non-issued capital stock certificates for The Alberta and Great Waterways Railway, Canadian Government Merchant Marine, Canadian National Railway Company, Canadian National Rolling Stock Limited, Canadian National Hotels, Limited, Canadian Pioneer Limited, Campanello Steamships Limited and Central Canada Express Company Limited. Also included is a copy of the Grand Trunk Pacific Branch Lines Company document entitled 'Acts, Mortgages and Agreements re: Construction of Branch Lines - Saskatchewan and Alberta - 1909'.

Textual records: Records are generally in good condition; the covers of the Canadian Government Merchant Marine ledger of shareholders have separated.
