Accession consists of central registry files pertaining to Citizen's Participation, Multiculturalism, Official Languages and Heritage Programs. The files relate to a variety of subjects, including but not limited to, human rights, ethnic organizations, state protocol, heritage, multiculturalism, native citizenship, youth and official languages. The files typically contain correspondence, reports and information-to-file. Files are arranged numerically by file block and therein alphabetically.

These files were created and maintained by the Manitoba Regional Office of the Secretary of State's Canadian Citizenship Branch prior to the transfer of Multicultural, Heritage, and Official Languages Programs to Canadian Heritage, and have not been subsequently added to or altered by the successor department.
