Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the British Columbia Regional Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, and its predecessors. Predecessors include: the North Coast Agency and District Office, the Terrace Agency and District Office, the Queen Charlotte Agency and District Office, the Babine Agency and District Office, and the Skeena River Agency and District Office. The Accession includes, but is not limited to records relating to: band management, band membership , school buildings, miscellaneous buildings and projects (such as band buildings, community halls, and sawmills), engineering services (such as bridges, floods, and water control), equipment and office supplies, welfare, reports and returns, surveys and reserves, rights of way on reserves, and individual case files (such as enfranchisement).
