Sub-series includes most of the 906 exhibits (1-906) that were part of the public record of the formal hearings held by the Mackenzie Valley Pipeline Inquiry. Formal hearings began on 11 March 1975 with the witnesses called by each participant presenting evidence that was subject to cross-examination. These exhibits were used by Thomas Berger to prepare his two-volume report entitled "Northern Frontier Northern Homeland" which appeared during 1977. (RG126, Vols. 10-49, 78-80)
