Series consists of operational and administrative records created and maintained by the Mackenzie Valley Pipeline Inquiry between 1970 and 1977. The series contains correspondence with the public, participants and staff members on all aspects of the Inquiry's work. Also included are files on administrative arrangements regarding the Inquiry's actual operations and Justice Thomas Berger's memoranda to various parties. The series also includes speeches delivered by Berger, French and English editions of the final reports, timetables of events, summaries of proceedings, indexes, posters, and lists of documents.
