The International Agriculture Development Division is responsible for, among other matters, developing and coordinating bilateral activities with foreign governments that fall under the aegis of agreements or memoranda of understanding concerning agricultural cooperation between Canada and other countries.

Subjects include reports and correspondence regarding international development projects and issues; contracts relating to specific projects; liaison with international organizations and associations; liaison with universities; and estimates and budgets related to specific projects.
