General note:

Black and white illustrations for the publication "White Plumes Astern", which documents Charles Law's experiences as a Motor Torpedo Boat commander in the English Channel during the Second World War, particularly in 1943-1944, and on D-Day. Drawings by Charles Anthony Law.
Illustrations and manuscript were published in 1989 as part of Charles Anthony Law's book "White Plumes Astern". The 34 nitrate negatives were copies of some of the drawings and were intended to be used in the production of a book.
