Photographs of Privy Seals and counterseals for fifteen Governors-General of Canada since Confederation, from 1872 to 1952.. Included are photos of Privy seals and counterseals for the Earl of Dufferin, Marquis of Lorne, Marquis of Lansdowne, Baron Stanley of Preston, Earl of Aberdeen, Earl of Minto, Earl Grey, Duke of Connaught, Baron Byng of Vimy, Viscount Willingdon (2 counterseals), Earl of Bessborough, Baron Tweedsmuir, Earl of Athlone, and Viscount Alexander. Two copies only of the Privy Seal of the Duke of Devonshire exist.
