Accession consists of central registry files and general operational records created and maintained by the North Central (sometimes referred to as the North/Central) District Office, Saskatchewan Region. General operational records (not classified to the Indian and Inuit Affairs Program file classification system)include records on summer youth employment. Records which are classified to the Indian and Inuit Affairs Program modified duplex numeric subject file classification system include files in the following subject blocks: 21 Block (Placement of Indian Labour); 22 Block (Office and Other Miscellaneous Expenses); 23 Block (Reports and Returns); 24 Block (Social Activities); 25 Block (Indian Education).

These records are held in the National Capital Region.

These records were originally housed in Edmonton, but were later transferred to British Columbia. They were transferred again in 2016 and are now located in the National Capital Region and are available for consultation there.
