Accession consists of central registry files created and maintained by the North Central (sometimes referred to as the North/Central) District Office, Saskatchewan Region. Records from the following file blocks within the Indian and Inuit Affairs Program block numeric subject file classification system are included: 4727 Block (Continuing Education-Post-Secondary Education); 4740 Block (Employment of Teachers); 4785 Block (School Programs-General); 4810 Block (Transportation-General); 4900 Block (Education-School Facilities); 4932 Block (Joint School Agreements).

These records were originally housed in Edmonton, but were later transferred to British Columbia. They were transferred again in 2016 and are now located in the National Capital Region and are available for consultation there.
