Files of the CWC Industrial Sector in annual series for 1985-1987, with a few items for 1989. The Locals files document the CWC Industrial Sector's relations with employers in the electrical manufacturing industry, and deal with such topics as collective bargaining, health and safety, and working conditions. The Locals files contain such documents as correspondence, memoranda, reports and collective agreements; the files are organized by local number, and are also identified with the employer's name and location, and the document dates. The General files pertain to CWC executive and board meetings, conventions, staff correspondence and reports, correspondence with other CWC offices (national and regional), budgets, relations with other organizations such as the Canadian Labour Congress, dealings with provincial and federal governments, and a scholarship sponsored by the union.
