A watercolour depicting the western section of Niagara Falls with three native figures on the lower right foreground and a lone figure walking in the distant right, This watercolour is the same composition as an oil on canvas by John Vanderlyn in the collection of the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities, Boston, and an etching by Frederick C. Lewis after Vanderlyn published in London 1803. This watercolour is approximately the same size as the painting and print yet, in content, closer to the print than the oil. Despite the inscription, it is not by George Bulteel Fisher., Preservation copy photographs, both b&w and colour transparency, are held in the Loans and Exhibitions area of Preservation Branch.
