Collection search - Business and Administration Records of the Saint John Port Authority [textual record]

This accession consists of two large bound volumes concerned with the business and administration of the Saint John Port Authority. The first contains the minutes from the meetings conducted by the Saint John Harbour Commissioners. Entries begin in 1927, the same year the Port was nationalized by the Canadian government. The second volume is an Arrival Log containing entries for all those national and international vessels that entered and departed the Harbour between the years 1936 and 1946. 1936 corresponds to the year in which Canadian ports were centralized under the National Harbours Board.
