The poster appeals to men based on their interests("Love Horses and Fancy Riding"), ethnic background (Scottish; Irish), skills ("Engineer or Artificer"), and physical traits, including race, height, and eyesight ("colored man"; "small man not up to height"; "eyesight is poor").
