This sub-sub-series concerns exchanges of correspondence between Jean Chrétien, his Principal Secretary and, more broadly, the Office of Leader of the Opposition as well as Liberal M.P.s, Senators and caucus members. The correspondence consists mainly of commentary on positions adopted by the government, suggested courses of action, and courtesy messages (i.e. well wishes, thank you letters, invitations, etc.).
