General note:

Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Pacific Region of Public Works and Government Services Canada and its predecessors.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, specs and plans, architectural and engineering services, and project files relating to the Esquimalt graving dock, wharves, harbours, Pacific Biological Station, Smither's Airport, and the maintenance and renovations of various federal buildings through out British Columbia. Also included in this accession are records pertaining to RCMP detachments and residences in Mayo, Pelly Crossing, McBride, Watson Lake, and Faro, in the Yukon.

Custodial history:

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
