The accession consists of files relating to departmental enquiries, budget preparation, advisory committee regarding training and development of financial managers, and policy development in relation to accounting and control of Revenue and Accounts receivable, internal audit, and operational management systems/performance measurement. The records derive from the Office of the Comptroller of the Treasury and their custody shifted to the supporting Secretariats of Treasury Board between 1972 and their arrival at the National Archives.
