Collection search - Labour Management Consultation. Central Region, Winnipeg, Central Registry Files [textual record]

This accession consists entirely of files relating to Labour-management committees in particular firms in the Central Region, many of which were set up originally with the assistance of labour Canada staff. Included are minutes of committee meetings, reports of visits to employers by staff members of the Branch and related correspondence. Files are organized under the name of the employer. The responsibility for this type of activity in the Department of Labour has, over the years since 1945, join with an administrative unit known successively as the Industrial Relations Branch, the Union-Management Relations Branch, the Employment Relations Branch and the Employment Relations and conditions of Work Branch.
