This accession includes a broad range of largely administrative subjects files. The records pertain to finance and personnel planning, land, property and facility acquisition and leasing; cooperation and agreements between federal and provincial governments for construction and leasing of research stations; branch resource plans sheets which provide information on financial sub-activities; budget-restraint analysis reports; capital plans and equipment purchase (mostly non-scientific), as well as establishment control records pertaining to the administration and management of research station resource complements. Finally, this accession includes files containing minutes of meetings for various levels of branch regional management. The minutes cover agendas and sketchy reports of discussions, most of which pertain to funding, person-year resources, equipment budgets, briefing notes and assessments of station progress.
