This accession consists of five boxes of registry files from the Pacific Regional Office (Vancouver) of the Medical Services Branch, primarily dealing with Indian and Northern Health Services and Quarrantine. The files contain information on such subjects as: immunization programs; situation reports on conditions at Indian residential schools; purchase of eyeglasses, drugs and prosthetics; immigrant medical reports and policy; statistics on Indian health; handling of quarantine of communicable diseases; and the administration of projects under the National Native Alcohol Abuse Program (NNAAP). There are several files in Box 4 on a poster/essay contest for native children on the dangers of alcoholism.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
