This accession consists of five boxes of registry files from the Pacific Regional Office and the Vancouver Island, North East and North West Zones. The material deals primarily with Indian and Northern Health Services, and Quarantine and Regulatory services. Subjects covered by the files include: marine medical and first aid services at airports, sanitation examinations, airport food services manual and comments, and potable water/ice/food examinations (Pacific Region - Box 1); information on development on Indian reserves, sanitary inspection of railways, cafeterias and planes, housing and environmental services and monthly reports from public service health units (Pacific Region - Box 2); sanitation reports, requests for special medical treatment, and maintenance of health care sites on Indian reserves for the Vancouver Island (Box 3), North East (Box 3) and North West (Box 5) Zones.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
