The accession contains records arising from the litigation between the lower Nicola, Cook's Ferry, Nooaitch, Shackan, and Coldwater bands and Canadian Pacific Ltd., relating to railway right of way lands. Records include, but are not limited to: coding manuals; trial book mockup; handwritten notes; maps; copies of historical documents; trial books; land title office documents; railway plans; notice to admit documents; cessation of use documents; orders-in-council and letters patent; and original discovery exhibits.

Custodial history:

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
