These records were transferred by the Physical and Chemical Sciences Directorate of Fisheries and Oceans' Science Sector. The records are central registry files covering a wide range of subjects. Included are files on oceanography (policy, projects and studies); liaison and cooperation; associations, committees and conferences; pollution; projects (by location); and oceanography (research and development), i.e. studies, energy research, lab projects, science and technology, marine transportation, data communications and collection systems and observation satellite systems. A final set of files concerns military oceanography.
