Collection search - Operational Files of the Aircraft Registration Division, Quebec and Northwest Territories Region [textual record]

This accession consists of registration information for Canadian and American aircraft created by the Aviation Regulation Directorate, related to aircraft entering airports in the Quebec Region, (which included, during the particular time period covered by these records, Quebec and the eastern part of the Northwest Territories.) The files document the development of policy, its application, the airworthiness of the new types of aircraft being introduced into Canadian airspace, and their individual certification. Files are arranged by the file block number (5008) and the registration number. It should be noted that once an aircraft is struck from the central registry of aircraft, that registration number is assigned to the next aircraft. Therefore, a number of aircraft may have the same registration number.
