Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the North Central District Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada.

The accession includes, but is not limited to records relating to: education, including nominal rolls (2002-2003); treaty celebrations; assisted living statistics and reports; child and family services, including the First Nations and Family Caring Society of Canada; children's programs, including the National Child Benefit and early childhood development; income assistance, including program review, statistics and reports, and children out of parental homes; and income security reform, including demonstration projects.

These records were originally housed in Edmonton, but were later transferred to British Columbia. They were transferred again in 2016 and are now located in the National Capital Region and are available for consultation there.
