Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the B.C. Region of the Department of Justice.

The accession includes, but is not limited to records relating to: transfers of property; transfers of the administration and control of property; airports, including transfers of administration, sale of portions of land, and leases; property purchases; First Nations bands, including town sites, leases, lands management, land transfers, land sales, roads, and illegal dumping on leased land; the Esquimalt Lagoon Bird Sanctuary; leases and sub-leases on various properties, harbours, and marine sites; expropriation; easements; under water demolition training; rights of way; Ministry of Forests transfers of administration and control by way of lease; dispute over territorial property; trespassing; riparian rights and road access; and right of first refusal.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
