Canada. Dept. of Canadian Heritage. Strategic Policy, Planning and Corporate Affairs Sector : The Strategic Policy, Planning and Corporate Affairs Sector is responsible for the key planning and management functions for the Department of Canadian Heritage and consists of four branches: International and Intergovernmental Affairs Branch; Financial Management Branch; Strategic Policy, Planning and Research Branch; and the Chief Information Officer Branch. The sector is led by an Assistant Deputy Minister.

This sector was previously known as Corporate Policy and Public Affairs and was part of the Department of the Secretary of State of Canada. When the Department of Canadian Heritage inherited its functions in 1993, it became known as the Planning and Corporate Affairs Sector and was later renamed Strategic Policy, Planning and Corporate Affairs.
