Collection search - Coast Guard vessel shipbuilding plans [technical drawing]

Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Shipbuilding Division of the Department of Transport. Records come from Orange Colour Series assigned by that Division. The Orange Series covers the following ship types: Workboat, Miscellaneous, Motorboats, Surfboats, Search & Rescue Vessels, Tugs, Salvage Vessels, Harbour Craft, Canalboats, Lifeboats, & General Small Vessels. The plans present in these boxes are general arrangement drawings. A general arrangement drawing presents the layout of the ship, rather than detailed drawings of particular components that made up the ship. Where possible, the ship has been named or a ship code has been identified. However, be aware that many drawings do not clearly identify the ship.
