The records in this accession consist of files found in the office of the Vice President of ICOD, Garry Comber. These files contain the minutes and related documents for the meetings and activities of the Senior Management Committee, the Project Review Committee, and the Senior Operations Committee. Also included are files from two major ICOD projects - the Canadian Fisheries Resources Assessment and Mangement Project and the Canada-South Pacific Ocean Development Project - both of which were directly administered through the office of the President and the Vice-President of ICOD.

In addition, this accession contains files from ICOD (1983-1985), prior to its becoming a Crown Corporation in 1985. These files document the early activities of ICOD, their early projects and policies.
