This accession of records consists of central registry files created at the Cornwall office. A small number of files concern bilingual policy. The majority of the records are for a variety of professional services by the Authority, and include contracts issued for such items as erosion control and drainage - Welland Canal (1974), annual programs for the rehabilitation of timber fenders, valve and mitre gate painting, removal of the lift span, Bridge 12, Welland Canal, replacement of the pleasure craft wharf - Port Colborne, radar system installation - SLS Hercules, and moficiation to the extension joints - Honore Mercier Bridge
Also included are working copy annual reports (1935-1963) for the Seaway International Bridge Corporation Limited and its predecessors the Cornwall, Northern New York International Bridge Corporation and the Cornwall International Bridge Company Limited
