Collection search - Special registries records [textual record]

This accession consist of records managed in special registries due to their sensitive nature. The records were managed using variations of file classification systems that were in general use by the department. In particular, 2 systems were used. A variation of a file block 1 to 11 classification system was used to organize records related to the Quebec Separatist Movement, persons and organizations of interest, and other security issues. While a variation of the EA63 file classification system was used to organize records into such subject blocks as, political affairs (20), military action (21), United Nations (24), boundaries (25), defence (27), disarmament (28), intelligence (29), economic affairs (35), foreign trade (37), aid and export financing (38), fuel and energy (39), and social affairs (45).
