Photograph depicting a group of mostly women and children playing games outside. Most of the group is seated on the floor in a row looking towards the left of the photograph. Some of the women in the group are wearing amautis (or amautiit). The women and children are Inuit. An amauti (also spelled amaut or amautik) is a type of parka, traditionally worn by the Inuit women of the Eastern Arctic, with a large hood for carrying children.
