Collection search - RNC [Rockliffe Negative Colour] prefix [graphic material]

This accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Canadian Forces Joint Imagery Centre.

The RNC prefix contains photographs that document various subjects, and it appears to have been assembled to maintain a separate colour negative series of photos which usually are found elsewhere in DND/Canadian Armed Forces National Defence Imagery Library photo prefixes. Photo captions and date information is often not present, and clients should also look for cross-references to other DND photo series to locate more detailed information about specific images. A significant proportion of the negatives depict aircraft used by the Canadian Forces or foreign militaries, military land equipment, including tanks and other armoured vehicles, and Canadian Forces uniforms. A large extent of RNC images also depict many or all of the pages of certain Books of Remembrance located in the Memorial Chamber in the Peace Tower, Center Block, Parliament of Canada.
